Fairport designed and built this unique process plant that handled 50,000tpa of Merseyside’s municipal waste and within the continuous automated process, recovered all recyclates and created a refined biomass fuel of consistent quality.

The fuel was used in cement kilns, combined heat and power plants and gasification processes.
