Fuel Handling System : Lynemouth Power Station

Working with Sir Robert McAlpine, Fairport are the Engineers & Designers for the fuel handling system that will convert the station from firing coal to biomass.

The project involves the receipt, storage and distribution of Wood Pellets for feeding to the power station boilers and mills. The design incorporates rail and road unloading, belt conveying, bulk storage and pneumatic conveying systems supported by the necessary control and safety systems required for the handling of this dusty material.
