Fibrowatt : Thetford

Ash Handling Plant designed to handle high temperature (150°C – 430°C) highly abrasive material.

The project involved ash cooling screw conveyors, dense phase conveying system, air receivers, blow pots, blow lines and hoppers, ash storage silos and supporting structures and a mixing, blending and outloading plant.

The project was designed to minimise noise and dust emissions and built to a height restriction of 33m in order not to be visible above the tree line.
