Ballast Phoenix : IBA Recycling

Fairport delivered a full turnkey project following a design study and value engineering assessment.

Acting as Principal Designer & Contractor, Fairport engineered, procured, constructed and managed a new facility at Widnes to process 250,000 t/a (120t/h) of incinerator bottom ash to produce a saleable recycled aggregate.

The facility was designed to also recover ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
